The vision of the Southern Illinois Bandits Baseball Club is to build upon the strength of our existing programs; focusing on player, coach, and support system development to become one of the top youth baseball programs in the Southern Illinois & Metro East Area. Our mission is to develop baseball skills and character that enables players and coaches to reach their fullest potential both on and off the field, as well as partner with parents on how to be the best support system for their sons. The Southern Illinois Bandits experience has been developed to benefit the boys, and we expect our parents to share that value by being silent sources of encouragement. Their coaches and instructors will be teaching the boys to play the game the correct way, with respect, and class. Players and parents must trust that The Southern Illinois Bandits coaches will do what is necessary and in the best interest of the team in preparing the team for the field of play and creating a memorable and lifelong learning experience for the player. Our parents must have the utmost confidence in the Southern Illinois Bandits coaching staff to make decisions regarding training, style and method of play, game day lineups, tactical adjustments, team discipline, and planning.

What makes The Southern Illinois Bandits different from most competitive youth baseball teams is our commitment to values.

The Southern Illinois Bandits players are expected to maintain a solid standing in school, and are recognized for academic achievement. Our players participate in charitable events, and give back to the communities in which they live and play. We believe the right combination of conditioning, coaching, and competition builds character traits that will last a lifetime. We value that family, church, and school are more important than baseball. We believe that team accomplishments are greater than individual accomplishments; and supporting your teammates through good times and bad helps to develop a positive outlook on life.
